We are pleased to (finally) announce the winners of the third annual Terra Kendama Rasta Week! This announcement is a long time coming, our apologies for the delays. We received a ton of awesome entries from people all around the world, it was definitely an entertaining contest to watch and judge!

Today we are very pleased to announce our newest pro team member: Guy Wright!

Guy is an extremely talented yoyo player, pill slayer, and juggler, and we couldn't be happier to have him on our team! In the past he has held spots as a professional yoyo player, so he'll be bringing some diversity to our already well-rounded team.

I've been playing around with Open Bazaar today, which is a newly launch P2P marketplace network. Buyers and sellers interact directly on this network, without the need for a middleman to run the service. OpenBazaar is currently in Beta, so anyone interested in trying it out should pay careful attention to the warnings on the developer's website.

I've created a store on the network for Terra Kendama (dafe1b1d9ed6d507952a51e512d481af3f8683ba), if you are interested and manage to get the Beta running please check it out! I would love to hear from anyone who manages to find us on here, as I've been troubleshooting connectivity issues all afternoon, so a confirmation that our node is reachable would be great! ...and if you do manage to find us, you might just see a nice price listed for beechwood pills ;)

Today we are proud to officially introduce a new product to our shop: Jumbo Pills!

These are a scaled-up version of our standard size Pills, designed for maximum playability. Similar to a jumbo kendama, these Pills are easier to play, and are perfect for stage performances. Available in 3 new colours, as well as a natural beechwood option. 

All jumbo Pills ordered through our webshop will come with some Terra dice, as well as extra stickers! 

We're pleased to announce that we'll be offering some new Pill colours this summer, as the first release of a few new Pill products we've been working on! New to the lineup is a burnt red, an apricot orange, and a purple! This means that we'll be discontinuing two of the old colours: cranberry red and golden yellow

As always, we're proud to be collaborating with Kendama USA to bring these products to you. Head on over to their shop to pick up one of the new colours (we'll have them up for sale in the Terra shop in just a couple short weeks)!

We're excited to announce that Terra Kendama has a new home: Vancouver!

This is good news for a number of reasons. We now have a large, dedicated workshop space that will allow us to work year-round more easily (Edmonton is reeally dry and cold for most of the year, which is not ideal for woodworking and painting!). This also means that we'll be able to set up a small shop space for local customers to come and visit us in person - more info on this in the near future! Our shop is also located directly across the street from a large park, so we'll be hosting regular meet ups and contests. Come out to play some kendama and say hello!

We're proud to present: The Girls' Collective Vol.1!
This edit features girls from all across the world shredding dama hard, definitely a must see! It was edited by Kristin Olinyk, who also happens to be in charge of Terra Kendama's photo, web and design department.

We'll be updating our webshop with some new products today, they'll be going up for sale at 5pm Edmonton local time (MDT). We have some returning products, as well as some new ones we're excited to release!

The release will include the following items:
All colours of beechwood Pills - $17.99
Cherrywood Pills - $22.99
Terra Toques - $13.99
15 Terra-painted maple Little Bit Bigger Kendamas - $119.99
4 Hand-turned black walnut Pills - $44.99

Some of these items will be in somewhat of a short supply - namely the maple Terra Kendamas and the hand-turned black walnut Pills. Our goal is to do one shop update per week over the course of the next 3-4 weeks, each of these upcoming updates will include more of the new little big bigger Terra Kendamas, so customers will have multiple chances to purchase one. These kendamas are what is left of the first production run after filling all of the pre-orders; we will be producing more that will go up for sale later this summer, but for now the supply is quite limited. Our goal is to bring the cost of these kendamas down for future runs, but for now we have increased it slightly to help mitigate the issue of scalping. Customers looking for a cheaper option are advised to hold out just a little longer for the summer production! There will be a limit of one per customer, we appreciate your understanding.  

We plan on releasing 10-20 Terra Kendamas per shop update for the next few weeks. These updates will include the purpleheart Terra Kendamas, as well as some more exotic options we haven't shown off quite yet. Stay tuned for more info, we have lots of cool stuff coming out this month!
